Weather in Camaguey
Camagüey, like part of the subregion of the Western Caribbean, enjoys an own climate of tropical savannahs where the solar amount of radiation is determining that affects its surface. Also it receives the seasonal influence of continental the Arctic and polar air masses during the winter.
The annual average temperature of the air is of little variation, fluctuates between 25 and 26oC, however, the annual average rainfall is higher in the coastal territories to the south of the bay of the Gloria, with oscillations between 1200 and 1400 mm/a and diminishes towards the neighboring zones of the bay of Nuevitas and Sabinal key, with values between 1000 and 1200 mm/a.
