The province of Pinar del Rio that outside popularly denominated in first half of century XX like "cenicienta", appears before the glance of the present visitor like a chaste one and discreet young person that surprised frequently with the splendor of its enchantments. An overwhelming vision offers the Orquideario de Soroa, where more than 700 species of orquídeas they hang of the trees and they offer, not only the visual pleasure, but also constitutes an important source for scientific researches that they will allow to develop techniques for the multiplication of these species and other new ones.

The valley of Vinales constitutes one of the regions of greater splendor in this province and has been proclaimed like Natural National Monument.
